This is a shot from the ONLY photoshoot I did at Anime USA this year. I managed to catch pneumonia the week before the convention, so I was ordered to be on bed rest during the convention by the head maid. I started feeling capable of movement around Friday night, so I did my scheduled shoot with Mike. I'm really glad I was well enough to do this shoot; the pictures turned out fantastic! This is just a teaser for you guys, the rest are even better, and are going to be posted sporadically throughout the next few weeks.

I made some changed to my Black Canary outfit since Otakon. I think the most noticeable would be the tights; I decided to change from plain fishnet to using 2 pairs of tights. I used a textured blue underneath of a smaller fishnet tight. This way, they were less likely to fray during the convention weekend, and I like how they look in photos better. I also made a pair of gloves for her as well. I had a pair for Otakon, but I didn't like how they looked, so I just decided to make my own pair! The last thing that I changed was the boots. I originally wanted combat boots for her, but I couldn't find affordable ones anywhere that looked like how I envisioned them to. Well, a couple weeks before the con, I found some on Ebay, in my size, AND THEY WERE ON SALE! Needless to say I jumped on that
